Photos by local authorities, businesses and other organisations
Photos marked as being by an organisation have been obtained by asking them if they would supply those photographs. Copyright remains with those organisation and any requests for reuse must be directed to them.
Historical Photographs and unknown photographers
Some photographs on this site are thanks to purchases made from various sources or photo collections donated. We generally have little information (such as only a name of the photographer, or a date/location of the photo).
We generally place this statement on the photo pages:
“This photo or gallery has been acquired from various sources but have little to no information on who the photographer is. For more information, please visit our Copyright Page“
If the name of the photographer is known, we will usually place this on the site as being the photographer. If we have information of a postal address/email address of the photographer, we will attempt to contact them, however this cannot be guaranteed as the original photographer may be deceased. The sellers of these photographs have advised us of no issues as to their knowledge with regards to reuse on this site, however if there is a photograph of yours on this site, you have the right to take any of the following actions:
- You may request that we take down the photograph. To do this, you will need to write to us at legal.compliance@trainbasher.com, detailing that it is a takedown request, along with the URL of the photo (or photos) that you request taking down. We will then review this request and write back.
- You may request that we credit you. To do so, we have provided a “comments box” to do so. You will need to be logged into Facebook in order to use this (or you can email us detailing that you are the copyright holder, along with the URL of the photo (or photos) that you are claiming credit for. We will generally resolve this issue within 48 hours and write back to you to confirm this.
