BU09JZT is an Alexander Dennis Enviro400 owned by National Express West Midlands, new to the operator in 2009, previously registered as BX09PFZ.
Incidents
BU09JZT, when previously known as BX09PFZ, was involved in the fatal stabbing of schoolgirl Christina Edkins at Five Ways in Birmingham.
A number of drivers at the Yardley Wood depot, where BU09JZT was transferred to following the incident, refused to drive the vehicle, dubbing it the ‘death bus’.
The vehicle has since moved to the company’s Perry Barr depot.
